Our approach to women's health

Menopause, hormonal health and women’s wellness – a clinic that listens, understands and supports you

Menopause and perimenopause can bring many changes — some expected, others surprising. You may notice shifts in your sleep, mood, energy, skin, hair, or overall sense of wellbeing. For many women, it can feel confusing, overwhelming, or even isolating.

At our clinic, you’ll find calm, respectful care focused entirely on you and your experience. You don’t need to have all the answers — we take the time to listen, explain and support you step by step.

Supporting you through every change of menopause

Menopause rarely affects just one part of your life or body. That’s why our clinic offers comprehensive support across the full range of menopause concerns, helping you make sense of what’s happening and what your options are.

This includes support for:

  • Perimenopause and menopause symptoms at every stage
  • Changes in sleep, mood, energy and confidence
  • Weight, body changes and overall health
  • Bone, heart and long-term wellbeing
  • Skin changes such as dryness, sensitivity, breakouts, or thinning
  • Hair thinning, shedding and scalp changes

Everything is looked at together, not in isolation.

Skin and hair changes matter — and they are not “just cosmetic”

Many women are told that changes to their skin or hair are something they simply have to accept. In reality, these changes can have a real impact on confidence, identity and quality of life.

Skin health and hair loss are often overlooked in menopause care. They are a core focus of this clinic.

Alongside menopause care, I bring advanced training and many years of experience in skin health, scalp conditions and hair loss. This allows these concerns to be taken seriously, assessed carefully and managed as part of your overall menopause care — not brushed aside.

Navigating Perimenopause & Menopause

Perimenopause and menopause can bring gradual and sometimes confusing changes, and this part of care is about understanding what’s happening, recognising early signs, and knowing when additional support may be needed.

Sleep, Energy & Day-to-Day Functioning

Changes to sleep, energy, and daily functioning are common during perimenopause and menopause, and understanding these shifts is an important part of personalised, comprehensive care.

Skin Comfort, Sensitivity & Barrier Health

Hormonal changes can affect how the skin and intimate tissues feel and function, making comfort, sensitivity, and protection an important part of overall menopause care.

Mood, Thinking, Stress & Emotional Wellbeing

Hormonal change can influence mood, memory, focus, stress tolerance, and confidence, and understanding these changes is an essential part of personalised care.

Hair, Scalp & Hormonal Hair Changes

Hormonal shifts can affect scalp, facial, and body hair, making it important to understand the changes and explore personalised ways to manage them.

Treatment Options & Individualised Care

Choosing the right treatment involves understanding the full range of hormone and non-hormone options, and personalised guidance helps you make informed decisions while considering effects on overall health, skin, and hair.

Intimate Comfort, Sexual Wellbeing & Relationships

Many women notice changes in intimate comfort, sexual wellbeing, and relationships, and recognising these changes is an important part of personalised, holistic care.

Long-Term Health, Body Changes & Life Impact

Menopause brings long-term changes to the body and daily life, and understanding these shifts is an important part of personalised care to support health, function, and overall wellbeing as you age.

Dedicated care, in a dedicated clinic

ClaraSana Women's Health clinic runs one day per week and is exclusively for perimenopause and menopause consultations. This protected time allows for longer, focused appointments where hormonal change and menopause is the only priority.

General GP appointments are provided on other days of the week through the regular GP clinic. This means:

  • Consultations are never rushed or mixed with unrelated concerns
  • You receive dedicated menopause-focused care
  • You still have the option of ongoing GP care if you wish.

A supportive, respectful approach

This clinic is a place where your concerns are taken seriously. Care is based on current evidence, clear explanations and shared decision-making. There are no one-size-fits-all solutions — just thoughtful, personalised care that respects your values and goals.

Whether you are just starting to notice changes or are well into menopause, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Support, clarity and reassurance are available.
