Complex changes. Clear, considered care.

Common menopause concerns we support

Menopause can influence many aspects of health and wellbeing. ClaraSana provides care across a range of common concerns, including sleep and energy changes, mood and cognitive shifts, skin health, hair and scalp changes, intimate comfort, treatment decisions and long-term health after menopause. Each area of care is personalised and grounded in respectful menopause medicine.

Personalised and holistic, evidence-based care

Effective menopause care considers symptoms, health history, lifestyle and personal preferences. Some women seek support for specific concerns, while others want a broader plan for wellbeing and healthy ageing. ClaraSana provides balanced information, personalised assessment and ongoing support so you can make informed decisions about your health. Everything is looked at together, not in isolation. We strictly practice evidence-based healthcare which means that our focus is on treatments which are known to be effective.

Support through every stage

Needs may change from early perimenopause and menopause through the years after menopause. ClaraSana offers continuity of menopause care, helping you adapt treatment and lifestyle approaches as your health priorities evolve over time.

Skin and hair changes matter, and they're not “just cosmetic”

Many women are told that changes to their skin or hair are something they simply have to accept. In reality, these changes can have a real impact on confidence, identity and quality of life.

Skin health and hair loss can be overlooked in menopause care. They are a core focus of this clinic.

Alongside menopause care, we bring advanced training and many years of experience in skin health, scalp conditions and hair loss. This allows these concerns to be taken seriously, assessed carefully and managed as part of your overall menopause care — not brushed aside.

Navigating Perimenopause & Menopause

Perimenopause and menopause can bring gradual and sometimes confusing changes, and this part of care is about understanding what’s happening, recognising early signs and knowing when additional support may be needed.

Skin Comfort, Sensitivity & Barrier Health

Hormonal changes can affect how the skin and intimate tissues feel and function, making comfort, sensitivity, and protection an important part of overall menopause care.

Hair, Scalp & Hormonal Hair Changes

Hormonal shifts can affect scalp, facial and body hair, making it important to understand the changes and explore personalised ways to manage them.

Intimate Comfort, Sexual Wellbeing & Relationships

Many women notice changes in intimate comfort, sexual wellbeing and relationships, and recognising these changes is an important part of personalised, holistic care.

Sleep, Energy & Day-to-Day Functioning

Changes to sleep, energy, and daily functioning are common during perimenopause and menopause, and understanding these shifts is an important part of personalised, comprehensive care.

Mood, Thinking, Stress & Emotional Wellbeing

Hormonal change can influence mood, memory, focus, stress tolerance and confidence, and understanding these changes is an essential part of personalised care.

Long-Term Health, Body Changes & Life Impact

Menopause brings long-term changes to the body and daily life, and understanding these shifts is an important part of personalised care to support health, function and overall wellbeing as you age.

Treatment Options & Individualised Care

Choosing the right treatment involves understanding the full range of hormone and non-hormone options and personalised guidance helps you make informed decisions while considering effects on overall health, skin and hair.

Dedicated care, in a dedicated clinic

ClaraSana Women's Health clinic is held during specific time slots within Brighton Beach Medical Centre each week and is exclusively for perimenopause and menopause consultations. This protected time allows for longer, focused appointments where hormonal change and menopause is the only priority.

General GP appointments are provided at other times during the week through Dr Susana's regular GP clinic. This means:

  • You receive dedicated menopause-focused care

  • Consultations are never rushed or mixed with unrelated concerns

  • You still have the option of ongoing GP care if you wish

A supportive, respectful approach

This clinic is a place where your concerns are taken seriously. Care is based on current evidence, clear explanations and shared decision-making. There are no one-size-fits-all solutions... just thoughtful, personalised care that respects your values and goals.

Whether you are just starting to notice changes or are well into menopause, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Support, clarity and reassurance are available.

Menopause affects many aspects of wellbeing, but informed, personalised support can make a meaningful difference. ClaraSana provides comprehensive menopause care in Perth across symptoms, treatment choices and long-term health.
